Finnish/French Marcus Amand – born in Oulu, Finland – is a great karting prospect. At the age of 11, he won the prestigious Rotax Max Challenge Grand Final, although is trophy cabinet was already well stocked, with three regional titles, two Kart Mag Trophies, two Rotax France Challenge Finals and the Stars of Karting series. He is a student of the FFSA Academy in Le Mans since September 2018 the youngest ever to have been accepted in the Academy. Last October he was officially elected by French Minister of Sports to be top level athlete in Karting category. He has been crowned European Champion in OKJ and reached the podium in the OK European Championship at Wackersdorf.
